A very well-run pub with friendly staff and a good selection of beers and wines. Often runs CAMRA-supported mini beer festivals with local ales on offer. There is a spacious and comfortable garden at the back which is great for a summer’s day drink - there are plenty of heaters for when the evenings get chilly. If the garden is closed, the pub itself can get a bit cramped. Tends to attract a good mix of people of all ages and is never packed out with teenagers. Decent pub grub and a bbq out the back during the summer months.
