Rating:
A good venue for a lunchtime sandwich and coffee but the food is very much the standard fodder. Plenty of seating in the newly expanded venue, and even a couple of al fresco tables, weather permitting. Sandwiches, baguettes, toasties and a small selection of cakes and muffins are available, as is a decent cup of coffee. Could do better with the sandwiches which generally taste a bit greasy, especially the toasties.

"My absolute favourite coffee shop in the world ... and I visit coffee shops a lot!! Friendly staff ... makes it feel like home:). Great coffee and the most amazing hot chocolate you will ever experience. Also incredible muffins ... particularly the Cappuccino ones :)! Tony and the team are doing an awesome job (although I wouldn't mind if they brought back the sausage and red onion marmalade toastie)!"

"If you want a nice coffee served quickly and efficiently then here is the place. It’s a coffee shop not the public toilet facilities."

"I went for a coffee with friends, and had to cut our visit short after my Son needed the loo, and found there were no facilities provided. He was not allowed to use the staff loo and the manager was very unapologetic. The public toilets were locked so He recommended we use the bar across the square which has a sign on the door saying “Toliet facilities for customers only" We will not repeat this visit!"

"A nice looking cafe with lovely coffee and cakes. Unfortunately a surly manager who was aggressive when asked if a 3 year old could use the staff loo, as no toilet facilities are provided, and we had just spent £20 on drinks and snacks! The library a good 5 minute walk away was our only choice....We will not be going back."
