Everything you’d expect in a Parisian bistro without having to go to France. Chez Gerard offers good honest French food - steak frites, mussels, snails etc. The Rupert Street branch is quite large and airy and can lack a bit of soul when empty but generally does exactly what it says on the tin. Think Café Rouge, add a little bit of class and a fair whack on the prices and that is what you get. Ideal for an informal meal with friends.
