"Much improved since Reid and his wife Hattie took over. A few different real ales with regular changing guests. They are kept a little colder than I like but well kept otherwise. Very friendly welcome from the landlord and all bar staff are friendly. The garden is well kept and a great spot if the sun is out. Kids are welcome until 7pm. Otherwise over 25s only and no trouble is tolerated. Live bands on Saturdays. Some comfy sofas in the bar. Overall the feeling is that they are really trying hard to create a good pub here."
