A tiny, old-fashioned pub which has gone through a succession of landlords in recent years. Situated in the quaint Rose Street area of Wokingham, this pub, which is split into two bars, one of which features TV, dartboard etc, is very much of an era gone by. It is frequently very quiet and attracts a mostly mature crowd. Fine for sitting on your own and reading the paper, but otherwise does not have a lot to offer. Drinks are relatively cheap but this is very much a pub for the locals.

"This place should be excellent, but unfortunately was let down by the unwelcoming attitude of the manager and patrons when we visited (admittedly a few years ago). Great location and a potentially a nice little pub, but really needed a change of ownership and a lick of paint."
