Upscale eatery with a huge wine list, set in a rustic courtyard next to the Wokingham theatre.

Staff are professional and understated and privacy and cosiness is offered by "screens" between some of the tables.

Given the classy atmosphere of Miltons, it's remarkably inexpensive: I had smoked salmon, Sunday roast beef, white chocolate torte with strawberry sauce (which was just fantastic), and two large glasses of Aussie chardonnay, all for under thirty pounds.

"A hot and cold Restaurant in all aspects, from service to food. The food can be very good and at times very bad. If you order a fish you expect bones, if you order a fillet you do not expect bones. It takes seconds to remove bones from a fillet."

"Milton's is a really well kept secret but it shouldn't be. The food is consistently good and the staff acommodating and friendly.  The tables are laid with linen cloths and napkins and the bill certainly won't break the bank. Sunday lunch is also very good value. I would recommend a visit."
