Really good pizza place in the town centre. Pleasant decor (with a sort of conservatory at the back), very friendly and attentive staff, and consistently good food.

While Pizza Express is a corporate chain and occasionally feels like one, it's anything but "fast food": the menu changes regularly and maintains a faithful Mediterranean touch.

Apart from pizza, there's a good selection of salads and a few pasta options. Prices are about right or a little higher.

Pizza and pasta at reasonable prices. Spacious restaurant with a decent conservatory area. Food is standard and can be a bit bland. Good for a quick bite but there are better pizza venues in the town.

"Our second visit. Poor service, despite eating at 5.15 and restaurant not full. Childrens' meals cost £6.10 for a 'Piccolo', which initially seemed like a good buy, but turned out to be the standard child menu, just over priced, garlic bread, pizza and ice cream, with a 'free' bambinochino. Husband's pizza was poor qualilty compared with Zizzi/Prezzo, as was the kids pizza. Won't be going back!"
