LATEST NEWS (May 5, 2008): The Plough is currently closed while it's converted into a Loch Fyne seafood restaurant.

A spacious pub with attached dining area with a pleasant conservatory and large terraced outdoor seating area. The venue is friendly and generally has a good, mixed atmosphere. The food is fairly standard pub grub, although it tries to be one step up, hence the inflated prices. That said, the Sunday lunchtime carvery in the restaurant area is very good, but it is advisable to book, as it gets very busy. There is also plenty of parking.

"Not too sure about the atmosphere in here sometimes, but as pubs go it could be a lot worse. The Sunday roast really sets it apart and it's always packed. Let's hope they keep up the standards."
