Small but pleasant pub set on a hill. Always friendly with old-fashioned pub games such as Aunt Sally in the back garden. During the summer months drinkers often sit on the grass verge outside the front as there is very little room inside. Clientelle is mixed but mainly aged 25 plus.

"Excellent pub. A cosy atmosphere inside and sitting on the grass verge outside can be pleasant in the summer. Can get crowded, but always with a decent mix of people (not with teenagers, thankfully)."
