The Redan underwent a major transformation about 18 months ago from a rough and ready pub to the smart and well-run bar that it is today. Staff are extremely friendly and you can guarantee to get a good, well made cocktail, as well as a decent pint or glass of wine. There’s plenty of comfortable seating and the low lighting with candles on the table is the perfect ambience for any kind of occasion. Cocktails are £4.50 a go, but worth it, and the clientele is mainly young-ish non-chav professional.
