A friendly pub with a good, mixed clientele and hearty pub grub. On any given night you can find groups of 20-30 year olds sat next to 40-60 year olds which gives it a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are (on the whole) friendly and there are some good real ales on offer that have been properly stored. Food is perfectly acceptable for what it is and reasonably priced. The nachos and burgers are worth a special mention. There is a beer garden, but the views are of concrete walls and a car park. Good for a few drinks away from the crazy kids.
