An excellent family-run Chinese restaurant, although unfortunately a bit of a walk out of the town centre. The food is cooked very professionally and the kitchen takes an extra effort with presentation, rising above the level of a normal provincial Chinese restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and you will often get two generations of the family working the room. The restaurant is slightly let down by its location in a residential street, and the buildings around the restaurant sometimes suffer from graffiti and vandalism problems. Putting this aside, if you don’t mind the walk, then the Szechuan Inn really is worth a visit. It is also the only sit-down Chinese restaurant in the Wokingham town centre area. Good traditional Chinese food, good value.
