The dinner/theatre combination offered here is unique for the area. Canteen style food is collected by the guests who are then seated in a large dining area where drinks are served at the table. After a generous plate of basic British meat and two veg fodder, visitors then move on to the intimate theatre to enjoy the performance. Situated, as the name suggests, in a fully restored mill, the clientele is mainly older and wealthy. This would have to be the case given the price of the tickets - starting at £33 a head for a matinee performance - which will exclude a large section of the community. A great experience, but far too expensive to make it accessible to everyone - a shame.
